About the Fund

The Sweden-Latvia Cooperation Fund is an independent foundation established in 2019 to strengthen and promote bilateral relations between Sweden and Latvia. Our mission is to broaden, renew, and diversify Swedish–Latvian cooperation.

We support exchange and collaboration between individuals, groups, and organizations in both countries. Funding is provided through the income generated from the foundation’s capital.

Apply for Funding

We welcome applications from anyone interested in developing and revitalizing Swedish–Latvian cooperation. The Fund awards grants for projects, travel, and media initiatives.

All applications are reviewed by the Board, which consists of four Latvian and four Swedish members appointed by their respective governments.
